This week I’ve been working away and I was greeted with a strange set up in my hotel room. I had a step up into the bathroom. It made no sense to me. It’s adds accessibility complications, increase risks of me stubbing my toe and falling over in the middle of the night (both of which I did). So it added no value to my experience and made life harder, so why bother? At the risk of taking this experience too far, how often does this happen in the workplace and all it does is add to the ‘stuff that gets in the way’ and we all know too much of that is definitely a bad thing.
