Last week was mental health awareness week and both me personally and Emotion at Work deliberately did nothing for it. Why? In part because it’s something that deserves more attention than one week of the year. Also in part because we want to focus on how we can help and support people with regulating and expressing their emotions in a constructive way on an ongoing basis so that it reduces the likelihood of someone struggling with their mental health. Am I being too idealistic? Or naive maybe? If you’d be willing to share, I’d love to hear your things and feelings.
