For this week’s #CuratedResource, we are sharing a research paper on the relationship between sleep, emotions and wellbeing. It looks in on the effects that sleep deprivation, both in the short term and long term, can have on your wellbeing and emotions. Emotion regulation develops with age, and poor or lack of sleep in adolescence can lead to decreased well-being in adulthood, as well as increased anxiety and depression. This can cause problems in the workplace such as conflicts or lack of communication due to decreased emotion regulation. Please have a read by clicking the link below, and leave your questions, thoughts or opinions in the comments. We would love to hear what you have to say! https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Andrea-Zaccaro/publication/337255974_Relationship_Between_Emotions_Sleep_and_Well-Being/links/60c85ca592851c8e6395f550/Relationship-Between-Emotions-Sleep-and-Well-Being.pdf
